I should have about 2 doz Serama eggs to set this weekend. The girls are laying up a storm....let's just hope the boys have been holding up their end of the bargain!!!
So, crossing my fingers I sell BOTH welsh harlequin drakes from holderreads and at least one of my quail d'anver and black silkie rooster BEFORE the swap (put them on craigslist).
Now I am dreaming of fancy silkie eggs.
And trust me Zoo, I've been thinking about Serama's. If I do a batch of call duck eggs I might be PMing you for seramas, must resist but not doing well. I've gone from nope, never having Serama's, to oooh they are soo cute but don't "need" serama's, to oh, they'd be fun - it is only a matter of time isn't it....
I REFUSE to make a want list (at least this week, hehe
I need to add to my list of wants: Pastel call ducks... X2, cuz I got my friend into them too. We are both building ponds and, well, you know how that goes!
Don't get too excited about call ducks - I have a nice byc member I'm getting some from to try in my incubators. I definately won't "count" them until hatched out with what I hear about hatching them. Hoping to get a small group of gray calls for my kids to enjoy (have two drakes so makes sense to hatch to get "hens" right
). And I am coming around to the serama "need" Zoo - don't worry.
