We're right off Park, and met at least three families on our tiny little street last night who have chickens.

And yes, our two girls arrived today. They are so fat and lovely! A Buff, about 2, and a RIR, 8 mos. They really want to go out but seemed to be a little happier when the kids brought them a bucket of snails. DH is a little more convinced of their usefulness now.

I've been cruising through the Oregon thread looking for eastern oregon folks...they are few and far between kinda like this part of Oregon I guess. Anyway, I'm from Union which is near LaGrande and Baker City...love to hear from others from this neck of the woods.
