Gee, guys, I thought you all would be amazed that Mice75 uploaded pics of Satsumadori, Minohiki, and others. Those are rare Orientals and you barely seemed to acknowledge 'em....
Regardless, I have to say I'm starting to pine for Kraienkoppes. IDEAL's the cheapest place to get birds of good origin. However, the question remains as to whether or not IDEAL has been breeding them well since they acquired them from Sandhill. I guess I'll have to wait 'til mid-February to find out. That's when I hope to order some BBR's or Silvers....
I have been following this topic forever and just wanted to say I love all the pics. We have sumatras in bantam and largefowl, I love the wild look of them. I love all the other orientals as well. I have seen some at shows but the price tag is always a few hundred dollars a bird. I too have been tempted to try some of Ideals birds just to see what theyre like. I have gotten some hatchery stock large dark cornish from them in the past that look alot more like a game being upright. Maybe one of the reasons I'm drawn to them is the smart look they have to their eyes.

Wow, nice! Do those have any Hyderabad in them? They kind of resemble such.
They have some "hyderabad" colored birds in their ancestry, I refrain from using that as a descriptor though as I have no way of knowing the region of which the asils used came from, even though here in the US "hyderabad" is linked more to looks/color/type.
