other than raising chickens what other cool stuff do you all do?

I vote for "drinking wine" is a hobby.

We garden, raise vegies, peaches and sunflowers for sale. When I have a "J-o-b", I'm usually an administrative assistant. Currently I don't have a job, so our one acre farm has to suffice. We do without a lot, but we have much. We like making stuff ourselves, so that keeps us busy and out of trouble. We like being with our family and friends and our animals. My SO has a 17year old son, who keeps us busy (mostly with exasperation and worry)

I jump from one thing to another..I am building my second whizbang chicken plucker at the moment.. I like to take old farm machinery apart and make them work again. I designed and built a hydraulic loader for an Oliver 55 tractor that I got running again.. I also make a lot of home made wine and beer..I am a retired building contractor and I still like to build .. I like wood working . I cook.garden hunt and fish.. I am rebuilding a Jamesway 2940 Incubator.(Ihave 3 of them)
I built a 128 egg incubator and have plans to build a larger one..
I would rather build incubators and cages and pluckers than use them.. I built two extra chicken coops just on a whim.. My house is in constant remodel mode.. for relaxation I go to the casino once in awhile and I will play Texas hold 'em poker with anyone at anytime..live games only, no online.
believe it or not, I enjoy plowing snow with my tractor..(I must be sick)
My wife and I have an adult group home. we have 2 people with us. one is 70 yrs old that came to us with the nderstanding that he was dying and needed a place to spend out his last few weeks..(that was 3 years ago) these doctors do not know my wife..LOL the other is a 94 years old woman..

I do a little photography and love to ride my Harley. I"m learning to build stuff if my DH will quit laughting at me. I want to build my own coop one day.

I sometimes open up threads that I have been pre-warned not to open up and then regret it deeply. (you know the ones that say for women only-IK!)

Gotta know, I'll NEVER do that again. There are just somethings I don't ever want to read.

Oh, and besides chickens and the daily grind (drill, fill and bill), I love to hike and watch Sci-fi and search out my ancestors.

I also teach Sunday School and a class in Spanish on Thursday evenings.
