other than raising chickens what other cool stuff do you all do?

I do a little bit of everything... Jack of all trades, master of a few!

Along with all the BYC forums I also have my hobby site: www.Nifty-Stuff.com where you can see samples of the stuff I've had my hands in... everything from electronics and inkjet printers to gardening and chickens.

I also have a few other websites / projects, but here are two fun ones:

www.reviewum.com - College professor reviews (my first "successful" website)

www.WorldTorch.com - Non-profit project to bring safe light to 3rd world countries

We do snake rescues for the community and have done this for years now. We also perform snake shows for different organizations, schools, social groups and here at my home. This is mainly my oldmans project but since I'm not afraid of Snakes I have done very well during our shows and also rescues. We currently have 28 snakes and some of them are from other countries and are the most deadliest snakes on the planet.

Man, I hope you keep them in a seperate building than your house in very, VERY secure cages. I would NOT want to find an African Cobra or something in my bed *SCREAM!*
(I don't like snakes

Oh wow thank you for the site I am gonna check it out later. I make some preserves and salsa's and cakes and sell them with my extra veggies at little fairs once and a while but this upcoming spring I was hoping to get a table at the Farmers market they do nearby on Saturdays. There is only one person there with organic foods and even though I have no certification I can tell them that I grow using only organic methods and that would be good enough. I am hoping by then I will have duck eggs to offer as well as the chicken

I have never made soaps, but would love to....

All our snakes are in the house in a room we call the snake room. We have been certified by the state to keep these snakes and one thing they look at, are your pens escaped proof. We have them in secure enclosures. We are very careful with these snakes, extremely careful. We do have two snakes that come from africa at the moment. Snakeman has been handling venomous snakes for 45 years now. Let me tell you when we do a show he puts on an awesome show. He will handle a lot of these snakes with his bare hands. He has also been bit by 11 venemous snakes. I tell him all the time that he is getting good at it. lol
