Oh my god they are so cute. We had 24 chicks in the basement last spring for about 6 weeks and we did fine. Just vaccuumed the dust and I did have a fan in the window and that helped quite a bit. Have fun with them.

How come no one has said anything about a hard wire top for those bins. You know when they get a little bigger they will jumping out to explore.

We are planning on wire tops like we did last year only this year we will be building a wooden frame so that the kids and I don't get caught on any sharp edges. We just haven't made them yet.

The first golden brown and black one and the last one are so cute. Look like lil Sumo wreslers. LOL
