Our Mixed Flock Journey!

Good morning all! I'm on my way to town this morning. I'm getting the Navigation screen replaced in my car & then getting another repair estimate for the tree damage. Hope you all have a great day! 💞

On a fun note, my husband and oldest son bought me a new camera for my Birthday! 💗 It arrived yesterday afternoon. I can now get pictures of our Peacock. He's so beautiful. I will take some flock pictures with it tomorrow! We are driving over to the west side on Saturday to go to the zoo, so I can take pictures with it.
It has a steep learning curve, but I'm so ready to stretch my brain & learn!

Those pix are,,,,,,,,,,,FANTASTIC :lovein sharpness and clarity of focus,,, and that is on auto mode.. :old :thumbsup

Just think of all the neat things possible when you do manual options,,,, like focus on close ups,,, and background in haze.
Thanks!💞 I know, I'm so excited! This is definitely not a beginner camera, thank goodness for YouTube! I'm going to be practicing as much as I can...I want to be able to take good pictures and videos of our grandson in October!💗💗💗

If you don't already have one (camera stand) I suggest you get one. :old :highfive:
It does 2 things right from the start. Steady so not blurry pix, as well as centered as wanted. and able to get into picture when set on timer, and you run into group.
When I used to take mucho pictures in my younger days, with family, and children, I would set on timer, and then run and park myself into picture. The cameras were chemical film, and the timer was 15 seconds, mechanical exposure reaction.
With your camera being in video mode, simply focus in desired direction, turn on, and capture a great video with no shaking.

That was fun...thank you Cavey!!! I do have a camera stand, so I will be pulling it out and dusting it off! I saw a tip and the guy says if you're over 60 :old you should probably use one for everything...so that your pictures aren't all shook up...;) :gigI still have a few years to go, but I still don't have the confidence that I won't be shaky...lol! Yep, I had cameras with chemical film too! Usually 200 ISO, but sometimes 400 or even 800, depending on what I wanted pictures of! Digital is so much better!
