Thank you Debby! They truly are the best!!!Wonderful pictures @drstratton! And the ones that bring back old, good memories are the best ones![]()
Oh my.. your horse was gorgeous!! And the pool looks inviting.. that was a great deal! So funny about your kidsWe have 5 acres, but only have about 1.5-2 acres developed! The rest is sand and sagebrush! It's amazing how much you can fit on 1 acre! I had a horse -CB, but I had to sell him in 2008! I had sepsis and after that, I just didn't have the strength to take care of him! My husband was doing it for me and would have continued, he's the best, but the horse was mine and my husband had enough other things going on! I also had a 75g saltwater fish tank that I decided to give to a friend...same scenario as the horse! Some pictures below! We lost our yellow lab, Mr Drake, lovingly known as Drakersa couple of years ago, he was 14...miss him still! I also miss my horse! The barn is now full of our son's car parts, our lawn mower....you get the idea! I forgot how great it looked until I saw these pictures again! A pool picture and a picture of my beautiful Mr Bentley...we lost him a couple of months ago to kidney failure, still cry about it sometimes! He's sitting on the kitty wash station, which is disguised as a towel rack...lol!

After 25+ years, I finally talked my husband into an above ground pool! I got a fantastic deal on it, less than $500! That being said the steps cost the same. My husband built me a solar cover real! I hope you can get one and not have to wait as long as I did...my kids "oh sure, now that we've all moved out you get a pool!"...lolView attachment 2065344

So many memories of my beautiful pets! Miss them all!![]()
No Chick picture today! We had to go get supplies and then worked on getting the rabbit hutch attached to the chicken pen! My husband raised it up for me because it was just to low. We built it for our children's pet rabbits, so kid height! I told him that I'm going to add more boards to the legs and paint it, so it doesn't look so scabbed together...that will happen a little later. He has another board to add, but the cordless drill quit! We bought supplies for the other hutch, it will be built to match the height of the one shown and will be placed to the right of it! We will also be working on getting the auto water system set up, it will be used for the rabbits and chickens both! We will just have to figure out how to keep it from freezing in the winter! We will also be making hay feeders to attach to the outside of the cages! I'm hoping to get the rabbits sometime this week! Chick pics will be here tomorrow!

Thank you! Agreed! That's why I had my husband raise it up. I did not want to have to stoop in to clean or to pick up the rabbits. The height is now perfect for me, still a little low for my husband, but much better than it would have been! Thank you Debby!Looking good! Having it taller will make working with the rabbits much easier![]()
