Our Mixed Flock Journey!

Pics
Thank you Debby! :hugs He finally went to the bathroom, I posted a picture in my other thread. I looked though it and didn't see any worms or blood, so hopefully that is a good sign! I wonder if he got another strain of Cocci that the vaccine didn't cover, from the grass clumps we've been giving them? :idunno😪

You can't blame yourself, seems to me you've done a good job with your flock. These things just happen sometimes.

Thank you Debby! You just can't help but wonder though...these little guys don't have a full immune system and it's up to us. I have to remind myself that I haven't exposed them to anything that they wouldn't have been exposed to if they were with a mother hen! I just gave him some more electrolytes, he didn't like it, but hopefully it's helping!

He's still lethargic, but doesn't seem to be extremely weak yet! I will give him more medicine before I go to bed tonight! My husband and I just finished disinfecting the coop. We made the decision to go ahead and administer Corid to the whole flock! I'm not going to take any chances!
They got to have their first outdoor excursion on the lawn...they sure squawked, but I think they enjoyed it. I just hope my little Roo will get to experience it soon! I do believe that's his name...Little Roo!

I just want to say thank you to all of you for the encouragement that you've given today...it helped to know that I wasn't totally alone! 💞 Hopefully he will make it through the night and be much improved in the morning, but if he's not going to make it, I hope he goes tonight and doesn't linger!
