Thank you Bob! We just talked to dad and he said it doesn't sound like she will make it as they are talking about putting her on comfort care. I talked with my daughter who kind of specializes in neurology and has dealt with many stroke patients hands on for 6 years and now she works as a case manager. She sees a lot of these cases, anyway she shared with me some of the thought processes and discussions that probably occurred which brought them to the conclusion that there probably isn't anything more they can do for her! Still praying for a miracle though!

Thank you Jehane! I don't think we will be going in the next couple of days, but if she passes we will take dad up for her memorial. We tried to tell him that we w could take him now and snowy roads are not a problem for us, but he's getting old and he's not sure about it!

I have no words of wisdom. Just remember to take care off yourself. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in helping others we forget about ourselves.

Thank you Bob! We are the only ones nearby that have the ability to get him to Montana safely, so if that's what is needed then it is what we are happy to do for him! Our 36th wedding anniversary is coming up and we will hopefully get a day or two away for just the two of us...we are definitely ready! I agree, self care is very important!

Today is a reminder that life goes on...even in the midst of sadness. We are getting ready to go to Clarkston to pick up our son's horse trailer...it needs to be moved & we want to get this over with. So I might not be back on again until tomorrow! I hope you all have a lovely day!

Thank you Debby! The trip up was uneventful...we are on our way home and hubs is driving...so I thought I'd check in while I have internet! We should be home in about 2.5 hours!
