We had ours. I loved it. Hubs, not. He can be fussy about food.Well, we had the corned beef, we enjoyed it more than the traditional version, but still not our favorite! Nice to have something different!

They are gorgeous of course! But we still dye some for funzies! They come out SO great!! Here are some of mine from last year... I’ll show my ones from this year when we do them... they come out so much better than white eggs! View attachment 2574444View attachment 2574445
I probably won’t because Mike doesn’t like it at all, and I don’t like to cook for just myself. Lol.I'm glad you enjoyed your's. I don't know if I'll make it again!
Well, I just dyed them the same as I would white eggs... they already have their own natural color to them so it adds to the richness... in the first pic you can see the difference in the shade of color used.. that’s green, blue, and pink.. but if you use a different naturally colored egg then they come out different shades of the same color... it’s so cool!Wow, those are such bright colors! How did you get them like that?
What do you use for the dye? Just Paas egg color or something else?Well, I just dyed them the same as I would white eggs... they already have their own natural color to them so it adds to the richness... in the first pic you can see the difference in the shade of color used.. that’s green, blue, and pink.. but if you use a different naturally colored egg then they come out different shades of the same color... it’s so cool!
Those look so yummy Cavey! I'm sure they would be perfect with sausage gravy!Since we are still fresh on the Irish Food theme, have a question of opinions about Irish Soda Bread..
I baked a couple loaves about month ago, and here are my thoughts.
Tasted great, fresh out of oven.
Good to eat with dinner.
Not very suitable for making sandwiches. Slices broke up too easily.
The bread is very crumbly, similar to texture of Biscuits, like the home-made ones for Biscuits and Gravy. Those have MUCHO fat (shortening, butter, heavy cream) in their recipe. The Irish soda bread has considerably less fat. (the way I made it)
Instant to make. No long time rising.
I will make it in cup-cake pans, next time I make a quantity of sausage gravy. Funny looking biscuits, but I'm not on the Great British Baking Show
Here is how they turned out. This is from a Store Box Mix. I used 2 boxes. Those are 9 inch pans.

I have never tried dying eggs before. Those are amazing colors. Sorry for the ignorance but are they boiled first? And does the egg turn that color or just the shell? They are gorgeous of course!
