What's happening in the life of my chickens today!

Spazzy decided to go broody again. I'm going to remove her from the box tonight and put her on the roost. Hopefully this will break her...it's just too hot for her to stay in the coop!

I brought in what I think is my largest egg so far! 3.3oz/94g...this is beyond Jumbo! Maybe it's a triple yolk...my poor girl! I believe this is one of my Marans!

Good morning everyone! Hubs is out playing golf, so I have a little time to myself today. We are going to a star party tonight with an Astronomy club in the Tri-Cities. It should be a lot of fun.

On the chicken front everyone is doing well, but Maximus is becoming more aggressive. I think I need to spend more time out there, I can't have him attacking me when I'm in the pen. My girls feet have healed up nicely.

Yes, we brought it! We went out to dinner & we just picked up Krispy Kreme donuts for dessert. We'll be heading to the location in a few minutes!

It's the town/s where we do most of our shopping. We lived here before we moved to Mattawa, 35 years ago. It's comprised of, Richland, Kennewick & Pasco!
