Our Mixed Flock Journey!

I have man-eating mosquitoes here too. 🙁
I have at least 10 bites, but hubs doesn't have any. They love to chew on me, it's always been that way, but I can't remember the last time I had this many bites. Hopefully they will soon dwindle for you & me both!

There are man eating mosquitoes, woman eating mosquitoes, and don't forget those capable of carrying away small children.

Of course there is a serious side of me as well.
Here are some links to good imformative reading.

I know that repellants are good, but not everyone is able/wants to tolerate those containing Deet.
Picardin is another good one, but has some drawbacks for certain individuals as well. I think Avon's Skin So Soft, formulated a version containing Picardin.

The leesser potent, but still effective is Lemon Eucaliptus Oil. I think It may be the safest to use, I'm still researching. :idunno

I'm one of those that can't tolerate Deet and have had good luck using the Repel Lemon eucalyptus oil. Good tip to pass along Cavey :)

I am being plagued by deer fly rather than mossies this year. Deer fly are big and they really hurt.
When those Devlz:mad: bite, it seems you loose about ,,,,, one gram of body weight. After 1,000 bites you loose 2,2 pounds. Who needs Jenny Craig:gig
Is that Australia? 😨
By the looks of that ranch hand, and that Stetson hat, I suspect from Texas.
