Our Mixed Flock Journey!

We want a picture of your stray chicken.
I hope you do get a pea hen! Then you will have a pair of pea fowl, and maybe chicks some day!
I will share a picture of her as soon as I can get one. 😊
I hope I get a peahen too! Chicks would be so fun! Maybe I could share some eggs for hatching...if anyone is interested! 💞

I have had some over reactions to various bites this year too. I have an overactive immune system to begin with so not surprising when my body does such things. Your explanation makes sense to me.
I also find bites in certain areas can be much worse than others.
I'm sorry that you've been having the same issues. It's not much fun. I've lived in this area for 35 years and I always get bit, but have never reacted like this. Something has certainly changed.

Oh dear... :( I love vinegar & it is very good for stingy things. It is standard on our beaches for jellyfish stings.
I know...I'm a strange duck! I can actually eat certain vinaigrettes, but not very many! I keep trying, because I know it's very healthy...maybe one day I will overcome my aversion...lol! I am willing to try it!💗

These 2 items I sent to my DD#1 for use on the grandchildren. The youngest especially reacts to insect bites more than the other 2 older ones.
Its good to have multiple things on hand. Never know which might work best.. :idunno

I am allergic to yellow jackets, red ants, and a few unknown bug stings. Spider bites turn into huge swellings. I’ve had this problem with bugs since I moved south. In PA all that ever bit me was mosquitos (well, and yellow jackets twice).
When I want to be outdoors in nature I have to wear long sleeves and long pants, and boots. Ugh!

I am the opposite kind of strange duck. I love vinegar. I drink the vinegar the pickled cucumbers come in straight from the jar. But only when nobody is looking!

It has to be tough to be that covered up when outside, especially where you live. :hugs

I did try this and it offered a bit of relief, thank you! 💞 Thankfully when I woke up this morning the swelling has gone down quite a bit and it's not quite as itchy. I was also able to get a pretty good nights sleep! :)
