I agree about our school. I am a big fan of FFA, but not our school's program. I will make as big a stink as I can!

I'm working on it. Slow going right now because everyone's hyper-focused on distance learning.Surprised some of the kids in the program didn't want to just take all the animals home between them all before they got to such a state of neglect. Chickens should be easy - even just use a large dog crate for a mini coop at nite for a while for a few birds. If there were other larger animals - not as easy to house if not already set up for it.
Where I live you can get harsher penalties for animal neglect than you do for crimes against people.
I hope all get to a home soon and next year someone actually takes ownership of that program - even to plan ahead for animal homes (with backup to backups) in case of possible stay at home orders.
