It told me a little about the correction process, yes. I will also do additional research to make sure I'm doing it right. : )

Dogs always get excited when visitors come.but when other people come to our house, he will sometimes try to show off by chasing our chickens.
Yep.I need to crack down on him a little harder and work on his commands.
Awesome! We love updates!I've been super busy, so I haven't had time to start yet My house is being remodeled and the craziness is slowly consuming me I'll let you know as soon as i have him choke trained : )
Is he leash trained at all?I'll let you know as soon as i have him choke trained
Agreed, you can advance to a pinch collar if the check chain doesn't work good enough. Is he leash trained at all?
I prefer a pinch collar over a choke collar.
Pinch works better and easier, never went back to the choke.Agreed, you can advance to a pinch collar if the check chain doesn't work good enough.
Ya, it is a more mediate affect, but half the time, most dogs don't need such a sever correction. Our dog immediately corrected himself with a normal check chain. OP already has a normal check chain to, so she might as well just use that, and advance if needed.Pinch works better and easier, never went back to the choke.
