I'm curious how many days before they are due to hatch do you disable the auto Turner ???

Most people remove the turner when they go into lock down on day 19.

Yep cool ... I couldn't remember if it was day 17 or day 19

14 chicks hatched (out of 15 eggs), so I'm pretty happy with my new machine.

I started lock down today... added some water and removed the auto Turner ... first time using the incubator so I hope I at least get one hatchling !!!

By removing the auto-turner, do you mean you removed the partition tray?

Yeah i removed the tray therefore removing the ability of the eggs being turned anymore

Just looked at the bator and it appears a chicken is ready to come out ... Top of the shell is broken and you can see something moving !!!
