P&I PI12/24 Incubator Help

Thanks Snoozey, sorry to be a pain but do I have to switch the egg turner on in the p and I poultry 12 or is it on automatically? If not how do I turn it on? The manual is absolutely useless.

The turner is automatic ... just need to line up the slot in the tray with the pin from the turning motor !!!
The only setting i changed was i increased the temp to 100.1F
Its no problem !!!

Hi Guys , can someome help me please i have had the same problem as others with this incubator showing FFF and cutting the temp off, i have turned it off and reset it 4-5 times now, it works ok for like a day or two then goes back to FFF. Would you say its broken

? or is there anythink i could do at all that people would suggest?.

any advise would be much appreaciated

At this point, I would contact the seller or manufacturer since its happening repeatedly.

hi I have just received my incubator is there any way you can tell me how to set the temperature gauge should it be flashing on and off and the temperature going up and down on its own

The flashing happens when it's not at the right operating temp ... usually happens from having the lid off .. Once it gets back to the default temp it will stop flashing

To access the options hold the set button down for 5 seconds ... did you receive a manual ???

Although I had a good hatch with the PI-24 last time (about 58% with both shipped and local eggs), however this time I decided to spot check the temperatures.

I noticed that the temperatures close to the egg level were at 98-98.5 degrees when the incubator was set at 99.5
Temperatures about the protection plate were however at 99.3-99.6. Therefore I raised them temp to 100.4 on the bator and now I have 99.3-99.8 near the eggs and 100-100.4 near above the protection plate.

I think this might be the reason my eggs hatched on Day 22 last hatch. So please do a Brinsea Spot check if you can. Its a little pricy (29.99 including shipping) but worth it.

Also noticed that keeping the vent completely open does make a temperature difference of about 1 degree around the eggs under the vent. So I am thinking of keeping it half covered till lockdown. What do you guys think?

I have a PI24 and have only done 2 settings so far, I am getting low hatch rate, I candle to check fertility about day 10 the eggs that are fertile I keep in. Those that don't hatch after day 25 I egg topsie find fully formed chicks not hatching, What chicks do hatch are coming late so from what I have read my temp and humidity must be to low. What humidity is everyone else with the model doing ? I have heard of people putting wet towel under the eggs at lock down as well as flooding the base. Does anyone here have success with this ? For first day I fill centre ring only then add 120ml every 2nd day till lock down day 18, at this time I flood the bottom. Thank you for you help on this one....

I have one of these and for the life of me I can't find my manual! I know I took special precautions so I would NOT lose the manual (putting the book next to the device) but now it cannot be found.


This is a big issue as the two initial codes that it displays (which tell you what you are changing) are not very intuitive (at least to me).  I know how to get into the menu to change things. I know how to change the temperature display between C and F. I THINK that the only item I can set to a high number tells me that base temperature, and another setting is to adjust the device, so that the temp is more accurate.  One of them changes the egg rotation speed. Well know... which one is which...


Any help would be appreciated as I cannot find the manual online
