Pale pink, formerly red, comb

One of my chickens, not the biggest, but the most precocious, as well as the alpha, has been molting for 4 weeks now, first molt. She is active frisky, and eats well. I am however concerned about her pale, shrunken comb. Should I be?

It’s totally normal for a pale and shrunken comb during molt! My beautiful girl went from a glorious bright red and flopping comb to a normal tiny and pale comb

What @Rose the Legbar said is correct, and with illustrations too!
You need not worry about your alpha chicken's loss of comb colour while moulting, it's completely normal.
