Parents of big families...I need GOOD come backs for idiots!

The other comments about what to say to a co-worker were in fun in case you didn't get that. :roll

you don't have to be rude

It just seemed like in your post you were saying not to use comebacks then went about telling the comebacks that you use.

AND the examples I gave her were to engage them in conversation like what do you mean? No I haven't heard of birth control what is that?

I view that as a type of comeback. Come backs don't have to be rude or spiteful, but can be something someone can say back to the person who affronted.

Why is there an argument about this?

Well, when people say negative comments about my family size and children in front of my children, I absolutely will want to respond so that my children realize they are all VERY loved and wanted and that having a large family is not a bad thing.

I have great kids who sometimes drive me nuts but most now are teens and that is what all teens do. However, when someone makes a comment about" Wow, how do you do it?" I tell them GRACE and I have good kids; which they are great in public and most of the time at home. But as my husbands said, " they are just kids". Ya really can't sweat the small stuff because it really is most all small stuff. When you almost loose one of your children you realize that. Kids are great! Even if you just have one but the more the merry and the more active ones household becomes.
