Parents of big families...I need GOOD come backs for idiots!

I have four children and even my parents make rude comments. I personally wanted many kids, heck If I wasn't sick with health issues I would have more. I look at it this way, my kids always had someone to play with. They aren't lonely at my house and I feel my kids are even closer. I love having a large family.

If people say rude comments tell them Hey at least I have a 1 in five chance one of my kids will take good care of me when I am old.

Well coming from a family of nine kids, my dad used to say that he was raising his own baseball team. Funny thing was there were 7 boys and 2 girls in our family, and my sisters could beat the tar out of anyboy in the neighborhood and still look like proper little ladies.

I guess they took lessons from my paternal grandmother who always wore a hat that needed a hat pin, and granny could use that hat pin better than Zorro used his sword.

Rude people are not worth the energy sometimes.

My uncle has 12 kids. His comeback was "Well, I needed something to do when I got hoem from work".

People can interpret it however they want.

Congratulations Asher! We actually just found out last week that we are expecting baby # 4. We have three little boys right now, and I am just hoping for a little girl. Though, a healthy, full term newborn is what is important.

We haven't told alot of people yet. I'm waiting on the "What were you thinking?!" and "Are you crazy?!" comments-more then likely coming from the brother/sister in laws....more-so because our third boy has special needs, and does require alot of care/attention. I'm sure they can't even *imagine* me being able to handle everything...

Compared to my bro. in law's fam. 5 is not a lot. He is the oldest of nine. I'm one of six.
