This is our sweet silkie Toast.
She is nearing 10 weeks now and I know it’s early though hoping for some informed opinions. I am like 90% on pullet. Crest matches female description, as does her crown and shirt neck feathers. Overall temperament is very sweet, does a lot of sweet quiet peeps and warbling, very non confrontational amongst the flock. Such a sweet one to have around.
Anything to watch for?
Photos as a young chick included — always been fluffed and round
TIA!!!

Update on Toast!
These tail feathers have me nervous. Especially bc I just found 2 more of my favs are Roos. :(
Ive heard coloring for partridge can sometimes help sex. Anyone have any insights on this?

I'm pretty sure a cockerel would be much darker. Still looks like a pullet to me.

She looks pullety so far to me. Compare with my adult hen.
