Partridge can vary some on chick coloring. I don't really have any idea

Sun needs to come back. Cell phone camera. I couldn't actually see her in the view since she was well over 6 feet above me so I guessed. Didn't turn out bad.

2nd day ever seeing rain and the 11 week olds figured out how to spike up their crests with water so they can see. They have no access to the other silkies so they figured it out on their own.

That is pretty funny. I have a spunky Black Silkie w/ a piggy appetite and to keep her from eventually having a sagging crop later, we don't leave out the treats she loves and only keep the regular feed out until we can deal out the treats to her ourselves. If we see her getting piggish, I'll give her a teaspoon of organic Greek yogurt to aid in digestion -- she's always been our littlest chicken and has other health issues so we have to monitor her closer than others.

We never leave treats out. This was just a few handfuls of cracked corn and sunflower seeds lol.
