Do you have any drakes in your flock? The only reason I ask is that it could be the early stages of a fertilized egg, but I’m not sure. I don’t know a massive amount about duck eggs

Nope. No drakes. Our only drake passed away about six weeks ago.

Probably a fluke when the egg was being made. Don't think I'd eat it.
