Received 6 birchen marans eggs from swindledana. All eggs are whole and appear to be in tact. This is amazing as the top half of the box was crushed.

Rec'd 7 beautiful Bresse eggs from Madamwlf for swap #7747. Thank you!! Thank You!!!

I happily received the following 3 boxes between yesterday and today:

8 Red Bourbon eggs from Ayeupchuck - all perfect

6 Heritage Turkey eggs from thebirdguy - all perfect

8 BLRW eggs from greeneacre - 1 crushed, 7 perfect (I can't figure out how the egg was crushed, they were well padded/wrapped and it was one of the innermost eggs - box was in good shape)

I received my first sets of Spring eggs today from CPL (via BM6). BM6 managed to pack 20 eggs in a medium flat rate box, and all were perfect. The CCL eggs are enormous, the biggest I have ever seen, and the Hedemora eggs are a pretty creamy beige with a nice size. They are resting on counter, to be set tomorrow. Thank you so much ladies.

I tried to use the google document and couldn't figure it out.

I received 5 Coro eggs and 1 Lav Orp from crfarm. 0 Coros developed. 1 Lav Orp blood ring. Received more Coro eggs, 1 Lav Orp, 2 Porcelain Silkie. 0 Coro developed. 1 Lav Orp and 2 Porcelain Silkie developed. 1 Lav Orp hatched.

Greeneacre--sent 8 eggs. 3 broken. 5 began to develop. 3 hatched. Sent 6 more eggs to replace broken ones. All 6 developed. 5 hatched.

Received my eggs from KitchenChick today. Box looked great, packing job nicely done! I called the post office early this morning to make sure it was NOT put on that mail truck - and it was there and I drove down and got them.

Swapped for 6+ Barnvelders and 3+ Welsummers. I received 8 BV and 4 Wellies (1 pullet egg - so cute). I took pictures so people could see the great packing job Crystal did. Thank you Crystal!

Newly opened box, all presents wrapped up inside

All in little egg blankets

Pretty brown!

There were no markings on the box that said "Fragile" or anything - but I have seen people on both sides of the fence on that one. On one hand you would hope they would handle them better if they were marked - on the other hand there are some masochists out there who go out of their way to damage anything marked "fragile".. and they work at the post office...

I candled them and they looked ok.. some have juggly air cells, a few "wonky" ones and one air cell was split and part of it was on the side of the egg. I have them sitting and resting now. I also found the biggest Wellie egg has some hair-line fractures on the side - it didn't break but the lines are lighter when you candle them. Would it be best not to set that one - or would it be ok to wax it and try?
