The Black Pea combed boy seems confused. He keeps mounting his male hatchmate, instead of mounting a hen.

I've heard of that happening before, but I'm not quite sure what you could do to prevent that. It's strange.

Pretty certain his hormones left him blind, just grabbing who's closest I guess. I've seen it done out of dominance, but this is definitely different.

My Splash Wheaten Malay Rooster has a nasty case of bumblefoot that I need to treat, after this weather breaks this cold spell.
At most I can do right now is probably give him some pain management, & make sure he's eating so he stays warm.
Gonna give him a half a baby aspirin.

After I treat him, I'm gonna put birdy booties on his feet, which will help protect his feet, & help them heal.

Gave him a couple low dose Amoxicillin pills to see if it will help lessen the infection until I can get to his bumblefoot.

The low dose antibiotics is helping with his bumblefoot, it's been about 3 days, giving him 40mg a day. That's 4, 10mg tablets.

I may end up dubbing my single combed boy, he's starting to get hen pecked now, on top of his mild frostbite.
