peacock noises!

How many Peas do you have total? If it is just these three, you are going to need some hens, cause these are all pretty boys.

well Garden peas thanks for the info< and we want them to start making as much noise as possible! are Neighbors have a VERY noisy dog and they think its funny that it barks and wakes us up in the middle of the night. So we bought these for enjoyment and to annoy the heck out of the neighbor (more for enjoyment)
You want some real noise gets about 10 guineas

you will have noise all year long, all day long and if something disturbs them you will also have lots of noise at night.
We run fans at night to drown out our dogs, early AM rooster crows and peacock calls during breeding season, my home is well insulated so it isn't very easy to hear them without a fan.

If the dogs annoy you don't know why you would want more noise

My 44 guineas are quite noisey and when my male pea chimes in it get real noisey! We live in the country next to I-35. So we have lots of noise for them!

But there is no cover over the pen.

I guess technically he is free ranging the peas too.

Love the warning signs in the window! (wishbones) That should keep most of the birds out!

They are not free ranging yet, I heard that they need to be locked up in their pen for at least a year. and there is a black netting over the pen to prevent them from flying/ wandering away. The turkeys fly on the roof and even come in the house when they see us.

I thought I could see netting in that one picture, but my eyes are not what they used to be, so I wasn't going to dispute the open top! I feel so much better knowing I can still see fairly well. I use black netting too and I know it can be hard to see from a distance and in pics.
