Wished you lived closer i would gladly hook you up with a few lifetime broodies, i got some that are hatching fools .I would like if one or two of my Hens went Broody but they never do. I have a bunch of different types and some are known to go broody.
I got my new pair of Taupe yesterday and as always came home with them about 4pm,then had to complete another inside pen for them .I didn't want to put them outside in a breeding pen especially so close to it getting dark. They are truly a unique color. The male is a w/e and his train although for a 2 year old is decent length does show w/e already. I will try to get some good pics when I move them outside probably this weekend but as always I need to complete 3 more breeding pens outside under the net. Once these pens are done, the East side will be maxed out capacity and breeding pen wise. I'm hoping to get my Cameo W/E trio by this weekend as well.
I am getting an adult pair of peafowl on Saturday, the male is a blue pied and the female a cameo, what will their babies look like. so excited about my pease
Thank you for the offer! I have to say I really don't like incubating eggs but also I don't have a need for tons of peachicks this year. All of my six peahens are old enough to lay now so if they all incubate a few eggs each I will be over-run with peachicks (I know at least two of my peahens are experts at hatching all the eggs they set on). I might sell a few eggs locally if the peahens don't do anything with their first eggs.MinxFox, if you have trouble incubating we will incubate some of your eggs for you if you want. We sometimes have spare room in the incubator here in Pensacola. No charge. Just sign them and bring them over. You get them back hatched or not! I know you let your girls set but you might want to try some of the early eggs.
