I would next try to increase their run and coop area, or allow them some free ranging to help them burn of extra energy.

Thanks for the feedback, currently due to weather and coop construction (which I hope to work on in Spring) I can't get them outside yet. They are in a approx. 12 X 12 ft area at night but during the day, I generally open the door and they have the run of this part of my barn, which give them about 50% more area. None of the hens seem significantly in distress, but I worry if somebody draws blood it could get worse. I hoping the Blu-Kote will help until I can get them out. This is the end of our first year having our birds, it's been a learning curving.. I have come to really enjoy them and personalities, I would have never guessed chickens would grow to be family pets. Go figure.
