Greetings, fellow Europeans!

I joined a couple of days ago, this is my intro thread.

It has been very dry so far this year, after excessive (and damaging) rains in October and November it has barely rained at all. We really do need rain now, but in a measured and sporadic pattern.

Thankfully, it did rain lightly for some long stretches yesterday and we filled up the tanks, so I'm feeling very grateful for that. Here's to some more rain over the next few days! *crosses fingers*

Province of Málaga, near the Cádiz border.

We're about 11 kilometres inland as the crow flies; in the sierra up a dirt track 3 km away from the closest village, ensconced in a nature reserve.

I'm halfway up a mountain in the Montseny National Park, about 4.5 km from the nearest village.
