It's like with humans.... sometimes they just don't like each other. Give them time... when the hormones are flowing it might change. You got time!Oh they are mating alright. Just don't know if she let them yet.
Oh boy! I did it... I am getting hatching eggs from my friends white Sulmtaler. I'll be keeping a small group and when I need fresh blood we'll be exchanging roosters maybe hens too. There are some other breeders of white Sulmtaler who will work together. It is a really rare color, so it is important to keep it going. I am so excited!! The plan is I'll start my first batch February 15th. Unless the weather does not cooperate for collecting hatching eggs.
Anyboday else, besides Erba, who is going to hatch chicks here in spring?
I'm sorry that your move isn't progressing. It must be frustrating!
Yes, the lockdowns are a bad situation... but on the other hand what will happen without? It would be a bad situation for health care providers as well as the patients themselves. It is already "fun" trying to get thru to the emergency number (not dire emergency... I am talking about the after hour "I need a doctor but not a hospital" number. It is just something we have to live with until it gets better. I am hoping the vaccinations will help with the situation... as well as the comming summer.
I guess the reason less people are dying is that now they know a little bit more about how to treat people than before.
Well, it could have definitly been the weather! But it could also have been the different germs and virus strain that caused it. I lived in Texas for a while and when I got there (it is just a wee bit warmer than Germany...I don't know what is going on in your countries but here is impossible to get in touch with doctors. maybe that is the reason that less people die
with this nice and sunny weather we do not get sick as people in cooler climates. I lived in london for 2 years and I needed antibiotics aprox. once a month. as soon as I escaped to the south I forgot doctors exist. it has been over 20 years since I took antibiotics. and I never go to the doctor - touch wood.

) I was sick all the time! When I moved back to Germany after 10+ years, same thing.
My immune system is just fine now. That was a long time ago when I moved from Texas back to Germany.you should work on your immune system. 2 eggs a day do miracles. and don't believe they are not good bc of cholesterole. I eat 10+ eggs per week. I have been eating a lot of eggs for my entire life. I checked my cholesterole a few times and it was perfect. even my good cholesterol was high. the doctor was surprised when I told her how many eggs I had been eating.
