Hey if you guys could give a percentage how likely do you think a CCL or Pekin could be a lap chicken/friendly provided that i spend time with them and handle them often? Is the personality like 50 50 or something?

I would say yes probably a 50 50 for the CCL!

CCL - Literally 50/50 for me lol I have 2 of them and 1 is lap chicken the other is not. Both handled often as chicks. But the other one isn't a nightmare or anything either. She's just a normal chicken I can handle her fine if I need to.

If you want a known lap chicken and don't care about egg production a Salmon Faverolle would be the chicken you are looking for.

I don't have your other breed in my flock, only Pekin and I would say Pekin is a lap chicken and also because they are so tiny that one can pick them up with just 1 hand.

My Pekin chickens like to talk, and they make the cuties sound. Generally hand feed, time spend getting to know them, they will be friendly.
