pekin duck brooding

I currently have pekin duck that went brooding, do I need to remove the male Pekin duck out of the pen? Also is it normal for her to sit on 18 eggs? Thanks any help is appreciated

If I where you I would remove the male because they he might eat the eggs or ducklings because they get jeluse because she don't pay attention to him and that is a lot of eggs but it should be fine
