ducks in their temp home. They are still feathering in. New home in the works. I'm designing a house for 16 ducks out of free pallets....should be interesting...lol.


nest box that gets nice and warm....still pretty cool here...if not cold at times



screened in area that when closed up, stays warm also but not as warm as the nest box. If they get too warm in the nest box, they stay comfortable in the screened in area.



Kinda redneck looking, but is working....I can take stuff off or put stuff up to regulate the warmth as needed. I shut the end up there at night....if I was able to let them out at all that day. Most days here I haven't been able to let them out. ...and move the whole thing everyday.



they will get a pool as soon as it warms up.









my younger two females are growing....





they out grew the swimming pool I had them in and are in here now....I put it in the garage...not a straight cut was made....lol. ...hardware cloth lid.

I'm new to this. So forgive me if I'm a bother to you.

They come to me when I have something in my hand, but only then. Do they come to you all the time and follow you around? I'm getting told that. I don't see it. My son got them for me at Easter. I have 13 chickens and have spoken about getting some someday. (I would of liked to of picked them) Is it because they are still young?
