Hi I just joined an this pot duck quakmire she is 4 months old just stared laying this week 2 eggs a day minus one day only one couple were no good one was round an smaller than a golf ball 2 must have been to close to each other the ends were soft an the one she laid good this morning an laid one tonight that just the very end wasn't coded with shell is this normal since she just started laying this week

Is she getting enough extra calcium from layer food, oyster shell or other supplement? Often it takes a few weeks for the egg system to work out all the kinks.
 
I believe she is getting plenty of calcium she is also free rang over an acre it has also been very hot outside I read where that can effect eggs as well
 
We have lots of trees that shade parts of the yard all day an she hangs out under them an she gets all the fresh water she wants I did just start adding in save a which to her drinking water since its been so hot
