How long has she been in distress. How long ago did you help her. What was the purpose of helping to cause alarm. How many days has she been trying to get out. How long has she been bleeding. What is your humidity. What is the outside air. Do you have an upgraded fan in the incubator for over 80 degrees or the original fan for under 80 degrees. What is it know. You can add a box fan next to the incubator. Is she moving around like in a circle. Or is it in one place. Is the membrane dark old discolored. What the temperature. Has the blood stoped or is it still bleeding. Sometimes if blood does not stop then they can bleed to death.is blood near the head or tail.can she move.is she stuck.can you see her feet. Our they trapped.is she still breaking shell. How tired is she from struggle.if you went to sleep now is she in distress to not make it tell you awake.
she has been in distress for about 2 hours.
the purpose of helping her was just to make sure she was ok, since i saw that the shell had come off and the membrane was not punctured. I was taking her from my circ air bator w/egg turner into my still air bator for lock down when i picked her up and candled her and noticed the shell was broken off but the membrane was still in tact and thick and rubery consistancy. I have a fan i can put in the room the bators are in. I do not have an upgraded fan in the bator. No she is not moving around in a circle at least not now. she is in one place, she is not pushing her beak against the shell, i dont think she can, that is why the membrane was not broken, but the shell was, i think she is not in a position that can give her leverage and strength. no the membrane is not dark brown, but it is a simi dark yellow and some of the membrane is white.
the temp in the bator is 98, and the humidity is between 40-55% according to my instruments. the bleeding has stopped. i do not think she can move. no i cannot see her feet. i can only see the tip of her beak, she opens it and closes it in a quivering motion, i can not hear any sound from her and i have a stethoscope against the bator and my ear against the hole in bator. i do not hear any sound from her. yes, i think she is trapped, no she is not breaking the shell.
if i went to sleep, she may make it? but the quivering motion she is making, makes me think she is having a hard time breathing, b/c her AC is intact and she doesnt have the luxury of room to move and stretch out, which means she probably can not kick/push w/her feet.? just my assumption. i will not go to bed.
