Great to see @WVduckchick here to help can't ask for better.

I look forward to seeing bath time.

Hoping your egg will hatch out on it's own. But if you need to assist you got good back up.

700

its about a 1/4 of an inch from the pointy side of the shell :( man ol man i hope it makes it i have been waiting to hatch one of these eggs for so long

Ok, so the good news is it has a good hole to breathe thru. That's a rather pointy egg, so it *may* have trouble rotating in there.
Since it didn't use the air cell, your 48 hour clock starts. Being a smaller egg, and so pointy, I'd give that one about 30-36 hours before helping....as long as you keep hearing peeping and seeing some shaking, etc. Also watch for the membrane to look brown. You don't want it to get brown.

Once it really starts trying to get out, you may have to help do the zip, but try and be patient and don't start too soon.

Good luck! Pretty egg, by the way :)

I only have one duck that will let me touch him and even pic him up and snuggle and smooch and it's a drake. lol But he is def not the norm. All the rest of my 13 will eat out of my hand but don't want to be touched.

Oh yes the snack lady. Now the routine well LOL
