Pekin duck with black markings?

Are all Pekin ducks pure white?i purchased 11 Pekin ducks a few months ago and one of them has a black marking on her back. She's had this mark since I purchased her because I remember asking the lady how she got oil (that's exactly what it looked like) on her back. The lady said "I thought that too, but nope that's an actual black spot on the duck". I've researched and looked at hundreds of Pekin duck images and videos, and haven't seen any with black spots. Any ideas? Is she a cross maybe, and if so what would she be crossed with? She's also the absolute smallest of all 11 Pekins.

Interesting. They're beautiful, of course. Has she been through her first molt yet?

Cayugas are solid black so maybe she's mixed with one.

No she hasn't been through a molt yet. She's the only one that has those weird marks! lol

Before BYC made the change I remember some one else posting about their Pekin having blk feathers. Might be somewhere in the Pekin Duck club thread.

She is not a cross....Just a miss marked Pekin...Sometimes after they moult they lose the Black..Or not until they eclipse .....Very cute Ducks!
