My 1 1/2 Pekin Bella could be egg bound "?"
She usually lays 1 egg a day. Today (6-7-12) is her 3rd day & no egg. She is hanging low in the stomach, she'd rather sit, then walk. Last PM I had her & her sister ( Trix) in a warm tub. Then they slept in our house & she was on a heating pad. She ate & drank & left a regular BM. It is less stressful for Bella & Trix to be together then apart.
She will let me place her on her back; however, I am not sure about checking her vent! I read about the sexing on ducklings. Should I lay her on her back & do the vent check by using my thumb and pointer on the outside of the vent?
