We moved to a small lake this november, and noticed one lone peking duck on the lake wihich Ive taken under my wing :) and have been feeding and interacting with. Ive asked people who lived on the lake longer and they said she has always been here! She seemed to make it ok during the winter and she will come when I call her.! Is there any more I can do for her? and I also now have two, 2 weeks old peking ducklings that someone gave me , they thought they were doing the duck on the lake a favor by giving it some company? I now am the proud mamma of two ducklings and a adopted full grown Peking duck that lives on our lake! any advice would be helpful. I am taking care of the ducklings right now in the house until the weather warms up then I need to know if I can introduce them to" aflac piggy" after a few weeks. She is so sweet and very lonely she even gets along with my cat.:) I will do whatever is best for these little ones! advice please!

Where are you located?

If in the south she should be fine if you keep her fed.

I'm outside of Atlanta and mine stay on the water year round.
