, we have green beans, kentucky wonder beans, christmas beans, green peppers, okra, cow pea's(i am a Southerner after all) ghost & peter peppers for hot peppers, potato's, onion, both white and purple, carrots, squash, corns, and probably somewhere about 75 tomato plants, both for canning and for table, not to mention all my herbs and mints, we also grow horseradish and comrey

Sounds like a lot less work, maybe I should just keep digging them,,,,after all this big butt did not come from eating the veggies from the garden, spuds had a little to do with it...mashed...fried....baked..with lots of sour cream

you're talking my language but i perfer mustard greens or turnip greens, we have mustard greens come up every year without us planting them, they also go good raw in a fresh home made biscuit , raw, the mustard greens have a nice little bite, took me years to find southern makings up here, my momma use to send me a care package with grits in it, northerners didn't know what grits were then. now i can get my grits in amish country
