Thanks, not looking forward to it cause I have NOTHiNG ready not having power for so many days has me set back but atleast we only lost power we were lucky and didn't loose everything like so many and I keep reminding myself of this when I complain even a little!! We still have all our family member and my house! Feel so bad for those who have lost so much! Did you guys get anything out your way?

I know what you mean. I lived through Hugo many years ago. We didn't get too much. Lots of wind and some rain. Could have been SO much worse!

So what do you make to take to the shows?

I like saline solution. Either a neti pot or the canned stuff, I think it's called "simply saline"
Don't forget the Mucinex (or other expectorant), and the purely physical benefits of hot tea, just for the melting effects. But the caffeine still works too. I put whole cloves or candied ginger in it too. Similarly, the capsasin in hot peppers melts congestion as well as working as a pain killer. (But don't put the hot peppers in the tea. Eeew.)

LOL!! It's okay! I appreciate you guys trying to figure out where I am because I have NO CLUE! LOL!! When I check in on Facebook it says Lewis Rd??
We got notice that we are suppose to get power by 11 pm TOMORROW. However, they said we were suppose together power back by 6 pm yesterday-so I've come to the conclusion that they just tell us a day to shut us up. :-/
So we are here for another 2 days. Hubby's work is in bridgewater,NJ and his office has been closed all week-he's an executive with a major apparel company shoes at least able to do some work from the hotel. This is the first time their company has ever been closed this long. It's a bad time also, because his company just made a huge acquisition of a different company and not being able to run the company right really is difficult.
What do you guys suggest I do for a chicken coop?? I don't have the heart to rebuild. I wish I could show you pictures-but it's difficult because apple doesn't let me upload to the site. Are there any good places to get one from around here?
Thank You all so much for wanting to help us!! You all are so sweet!! I think we are cooking in today but if you want to come visit us you are more than welcome to!! :)
You could try Martins Buildings on route 322 between Brickerville and Ephrata,,,, they probably have a site to show you their styles,,, I've bought 2 from them,,, nicely constructed, and they will deliver, although you are a bit of a distance away so there will be a fee. And there is POP's sheds ,,,, he's a wholesaler and has a nice selection of quaker-style coops, also has a website,,,, found them to be fairly priced and better materials and quality than some of the other places.

Happy hunting !

thanks, made a trip to the store, bought lots of tea and trying the neti pot, really hate cold medicines though, good thing I do not get sick often........i went mainly to find the powdered thera flu that you drink but could not find it anywhere (I remember trying this last year at my daughters house and it seemed to really work )......got to get rid of this headache for interview in the morning...
