I don't crate mine when we drive, Willow’s crate is way too big

I’m waiting for the Lilac RuffLand to be released again. Until then it’s my Malibu RuffLand & a Wire Crate on the other side.

I hated the lilac color when it first came out and now that’s it’s gone I’m like.. man, I wish I had gotten one!! Hopefully it’ll come out again this spring.

Well car safety is huge for me. Plus, having crates for our events is so so handy. But I definitely understand it’s not for everyone!!

In less than a month, my 2 Aussies & I are staying in a hotel for a 4 day sporting event. Pray for us LOL

Yeah, at events we actually use those portable fabric crates, much lighter especially when you're handling 2 dogs and 2 crates at the same time but I totally understand crating understand cars, it's much safer

I didn’t used to either but now I’m paranoid hahaha although now we don’t go anywhere except to the vet or maybe occasional local hikes although we haven’t done that since I stopped driving but still. It could happen. LOL anyway, my point is, those are all very short, local trips so I wouldn’t crate for those. I would crate for longer road trips though if we ever went on one again. Again, I didn’t used to (except like once or twice) but now I would. Even the once or twice was pointless cause his wire crate would just injure him more in an accident I feel like. I need to get a Ruffland if we ever go on a longer roadtrip. But not planning on it anytime soon. LOL

Good luck! Both at the event and in the hotel when we stayed at a hotel the dogs did good, but willow barked a few times hearing people outside

Willow is really good on car rides, we are going to Tennessee in a week or so...it's a 12 hour ride but willows done it multiple times and basically sleeps the entire way. This will be oakleys first time so hopefully it goes OK

Awwww I’m sure it will. He will probably learn from Willow and sleep lol I took Brew on trips as a puppy and an adult and he just slept every time hahah trips are exhausting apparently
