PHISHING POP UP?

These ads are so sophisticated that they actually check to see if you are on a phone in two ways. First they can look for a cell data connection type rather than wifi. Second they actually check for the gyroscopic signal the phone uses for rotational display. So an ad can look harmless to the ad exchange when it is submitted because on a desktop it will load an innocent ad, but once it detects the phone signals it loads the redirect package instead.
Wow that's very scary. Thank you for that information, Its very good to know that. :th

Just happened again while I was reading in the forums. I am using Win 10 and downloaded Fire Fox last night. The first time it happened yesterday I was using Chrome.
PS: this is a different spam/phishing than last nights.

Hello I am just copying and pasting my thread on this same issue. I will do a print screen if it happens again. I am using windows 10 and Chrome. I believe my system is up to date. I have just downloaded Fire Fox and will be switching browsers when I have it set up correctly.
MY PREVIOUS POST:
Hello I just opened the site walked away for 45 seconds. When I got back the site was gone and I had a pop up congratulating me as an instant winner..........of course there was a link to click on. I closed my browser and came back to post this.
Has anyone else seen this? I suppose it could be on my end.
Thanks
Stepnout.

There's been problems with windows 10 and firefox.. I reverted back to windows 8.. However, that was sometime last year..

I know this is an ongoing problem and there’s not much you can do but whack the bad ads when they pop up, just letting y’all know it’s started occasionally happening again the last 3 days.
No big deal, just FYI. :) (not even sure if screenshots help or not)
