I can pick up spiders, snakes, frogs you name, no problem, but I simple can't stand
centipedes. All those legs moving at once and they bite. They are an abomination
of nature. Just invoking the name gives me the heebie jeebies. My sister in law had
to help me kill one that I trapped under a bottle that had got in the house. She sprayed
a circle of insecticide around the bottle then lifted the bottle. The horrible monster crawled out
and through the poison moat only to writhe around for for 20 minutes shaking all its
hideous legs everywhere before dying.
I couldnt muster enough courage to stomp the poor thing to death and just stood around
whimpering. My sister in law must have picked up on my fear because she was getting awful
jumpy too. I just can't believe spiders beat out centipedes for phobias.

I have a phobia of the ocean, lakes, and a body of water larger than a pool and over three feet deep.

I've never been around a full grown Emu, and I don't plan on it...BUT I've never been attacked by emu's either...I am attacked by turkeys every single time I get around one.
