I LOVE your story about how your chicken helps you-wonderful!
Since my four grandkids (ages 6-2) moved 16 hours away across the country (and broke my heart) I now have four Buff Orpington girls I spoil and spend time every day visiting and letting them nap on my lap. I call them my therapy chickens. When I told the neighbor thats what I call them, she laughed and said "well, I guess thats better than drinking beer!" lol
