So here's the deal, I ordered 15 Golden Duckwing Phoenix. I am new to Phoenix chickens. They are 7wks old now. Im having a hard time accepting that they are all the GOLDEN Duckwing. Half of them are SUPER light and the other half are SUPER red tinted. Please tell me I am not crazy. The first 3 photos are Cockerels...the last 2 are pullets. If anyone can clear up my doubt with these big differences in color..PLEASE by all means DO:

Thanks, thats what I was thinking. I just kept telling myself...why would they send me half silver and half golden..when even on my reciept (i checked 3 times lol) it says 15 golden duckwing phoenix is what I paid for. I'll like them all either way..just got confused.

The light ones are silver duckwing.
Quick question, do you think the red tinted ones could in fact be the black breasted red phoenix (which they also sell) because some of them look REALLY red.. ( like the color of RIR)? The more I look at them the more Im getting paranoid that I may have silver and black breasted red with NO golden like I ordered. They are all diferent prices and my receipt says I actually paid for 15 Gold. This is a bit frustrating.

You might be right. I didn't want to say it because I wasn't sure. I know the girls are a rich gold but I thought the boys were supposed to be blonder in the hackles. But then, these are baby feathers, too. So, IDK... I'm sure someone who raises game fowl would know.

Well...now that they are 11 weeks old I can officially say....although I ordered 15 golden duckwing phoenix I recieved 16 assorted:

3 - Golden Pullets
2 - Golden Cockerels

3 - Black Breasted Red Pullets
1 - Black Breasted Red Cockerel

3 - Silver Pullets
4 - Silver Cockerels

THE TRIO

My daughter has fallen in love with the one and only Black Breasted Red Cockerel. She named him Poop and he is LOADED with personality :)

I contacted the owner to let them know. First I complimented them on how all the chicks arrived alive and healthy, even the extra one. Then expressed the dilema. I was not looking to ship them back at this point. I told them they may want to be more careful and pay attention to the orders for future reference. That was a few weeks ago and I still have not gotten a response. I've started to find that they don't really respond to "errors" from other people's input on the hatchery.. I'm wondering if it had anything to do with the fact that after I ordered and was given a ship date, the day they were to ship I received a call saying they were out and in a few weeks they should have enough golden phoenix to ship if I was willing to wait. I said of course. Who knows what happened.
