The only thing that bothers me is how close this feather is to the frame.

Looks like it cut off just a bit.

Great picture! Too bad the front one's front of her face is hidden. If only her head was up just a little.

I love the full picture better. Again, if only her head was up a little. I also think it'd be nice if there was another bird on the left behind that Orpington. Personally, in this picture, I'd be looking for a nice flock picture. Then, maybe on a later date, with a few (more noticable) clouds in the sky, look for the two Orpingtons picture. Go up a little on angle if you can. That's all my personal opinion. Either way, I really like the picture, except for the hen's head down too low.

This is a beautiful picture. I love the contrast between the golden buff of the hens and the rich blue sky.

I agree that it would be better if the front hen's face was more visible. It would also be cool if there were more clouds in the background, mirroring the fluffy shape of the Orpingtons.

Go up a little on angle if you can.

That one was taken with the D3300 and they were on top of the side of the hay pile on the flatbed. I looked around for something to stand on, but there wasn't anything suitable. A couple of these were taken standing on the trailer.

These were taken with the point-and-shoot Coolpix L830, all are blurry or junk.

They rarely do! But I love those photos as is, too. Really bright colors and very clear, and it is fun to see the hens getting down to business with that hay.
