I love the one on the top right, the lone Orpington. It doesn't look like junk to me. :p
Thanks! One of the things I don't like about it is that the hen is out of focus and the hay is in focus.

You should see the others!

Story of my life!

The elusive flock picture!

That one was taken with the D3300 and they were on top of the side of the hay pile on the flatbed. I looked around for something to stand on, but there wasn't anything suitable. A couple of these were taken standing on the trailer.

Oh, ok. Do you ever do 'blind shots'? That would of been an opportunity to do them.

I love the two middle pictures here! The second picture is good because of the flock look. The third one is good because of position, and I'll choose that one as my favorite. :love
They're not that bad... The first picture I wouldn't call anything special, and same with the second, but I wouldn't ditch the others. The colors are good and good background. Due to clearness, I wouldn't call them 'award winners', but if I had taken those pictures, I would at least share some of those.
Thanks. This was the look I was going for but the hens and clouds were not cooperating. :lau
The clouds were not cooperating? Ok.... Have you ever watched the clouds? If you watch them carefully and sometimes long enough, you'll be able to tell what direction they're going, and how long it'll take them to be where you want them to be. It's not hard to do at all. In fact, even chickens watch the clouds. :D

Do you like his eyes?:p

Even though the editing is too much it really matches his personality. He lost his wattles in a fight.

how about this one?

Im really not a fan of how the light is coming in through netting and making the same pattern on the rooster:hmm
The shadows don't bug me so much. The forward focus and the white light in the background are more distracting.
