Most of the eggs look good. We will see how they come out.

I have 7 4 week old chicks. One Ameracauna, One BLR Wyandotte, One Welsummer, and 4 Marans. I will post a pic of them tomorrow.

I would love to see the coop.

We have chicks on day 20 from the Hovabator!!! This is the one that I think was running warmer then the KingSuro20..... I have lots of pips in there as well. I have to hurry and get the coop done for the bigger birds so I can get the little guys in the brooder.... Talk about pressure!!!! To bad work is getting in the way....

Woke up the morning and 8 chicks out in the Hovabator and 1 pip in the King Suro bator.....

I have chicks!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lots of them. I am hoping that the King Suro pulls through for me. I have one FANTSTIC looking BC Marans that came out of that one so far. It looks so much nicer then the other's. I have LOTS of ameracaunas. I have not counted yet.

I have a big problem. I need to get my basic coop done so that I can get the older chicks in it to free up the brooder....... I know I can keep the chicks in the bator for about 48 hrs without food and water so the race is on...... I got is all wired up today and need to get the door on it. I can worry about the walls and roof later.....

It has been a lot of work. I had to get the Coop fully wired to put the older chicks in there in order to free up the brooder.... I now have to finish the sides and roof of the coop tomorrow but at least the chicks are in the brooder. I had 39 chicks hatch!!!

I have never had to take care of this many before..... I will need to find homes for most of them. I think I have reached my goal of 8-9 hens...
